These drawing horses were commissioned by the San Diego Museum of Art to be part of their education space for a show of Mexican modernist painting. I drew inspiration from mid-century modernist abstraction in some of the works to design these functional yet expressive drawing horses. They were cut from bamboo plywood and assembled with CNC joinery techniques.
