Sometimes I think about simple interactions of things and make an experimental piece to showcase them. Usually, these aren’t as fully formed as Homage to the Loop. The pandemic has given many of the excuse to just doodle. Here is my piece about the looping period of time that has been the Covid-19 pandemic. A bouquet of fake flowers spins around in a vase in the form of a cooling tower. A color sniffing plumb bob hangs from a framed LED screen that presents an ever changing tunnel of colors in the famous Albers motif. The inner most color is the one most recently picked by the sensor in the plumb bob. Welcome to my state of mind… Enjoy.
